Daiwa introduces new range of Smart and HD Ready TVs

The company claims that all the TV variants are priced very cheap coming in at nearly half the price of the TVs of similar specifications. Daiwa, a part of Videotex International, today announced the launch if its 32 inch and 40 inch TV series. In total, three 32 inch TVs were announced along with a 40 inch TV. The four TVs announced by Daiwa today are:

32″ SMART TV,

  • 32″ 1 HDMI 1 USB HD Ready TV,
  • 32″ 2 HDMI 2 USB HD Ready TV
  • 40″ Full HD TV.

All products that comes out of our stable therefore brings along state-of-the-art-quality at attractive price points. Particularly, our 32″ SMART TV which we just launched, is revolutionary in every sense and we are confident that this particular variant is poised to create a disruption in the space,” said Arjuun Bajaj, director, Daiwa, while announcing the launch.

Below are the Daiwa TVs which were launched in India today.

Daiwa 32″ SMART TV – Rs 15,990

The Smart TV from Daiwa comes with a 32 inch HD Ready LED screen panel. For connectivity, it has 3 HDMI ports, 3 USB ports ( 1 USB 3.0 + 2 USB 2.0) and a headphone jack. It boasts stereo speakers with an audio output of 2x8W. It is built on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and is powered by an ARM Cortex A7 quad core 1 GHz processor and Mali-450MP2 GPU. It also has 1GB RAM and 4GB internal storage. Additionally, it has built in WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and a mini remote called the 2.4 GHz web cruiser. The TV will be made available on Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal and HomeShop18.

Daiwa 32″ 1 HDMI+1 USB (D32A1) / 2 HDMI+2 USB (D32A2)

Both these variants have identical specifications except the USB + HDMI port combinations. Apart from that, the 32 inch HD Ready TV from Daiwa comes in with features like Cinema Zoom Mode, ultra-low power consumption, high fidelity surround sound, smart energy saving and many more. It also comes with an all in one remote that connects not just to the TV, but also to media players and wireless headphones, connected to the home entertainment system. This TV is also available across different online portals including Amazon, Snapdeal and Shopclues.

Daiwa 40″ 42LE400

The company claims that this model offers an all-inclusive experience in one Television set. Apart from the bigger 40 inch screen and a Full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution, the TV comes with similar features like Cinema Zoom Mode, Smart Energy Saving Eco Vision, HRDP technology for fast moving gaming and crystal clear picture quality and many more. For connectivity, it has 2 HDMI and 2 USB ports with a headphone jack. Regarding the design, the TV is a visual treat even when not in use with its thin side bezels. The same fidelity surround sound is present here as well. Other features include USB to USB data transfer, Zero dot LED panel for superior picture quality, etc.
